Annika Sorenstam Plays Celebrity ChefAnnika Sorenstam, the #1 Player in Women's Golf and Winner of the LPGA Sybase Classic, played off of her passion for cooking and joined MacMenamin's Grill & Chef Works' (New Rochelle, NY) owner and executive chef Brian MacMenamin and chef de cuisine James Cawley to teach cooking lessons and afterwards, enjoyed a gourmet dinner. A natural in the kitchen, Annika donned her apron and got down to business. Alongside Chefs Brian and James, she prepped, cut, diced, spliced and blended. At one point Annika even worked the crowd, passing a tray of crab cakes!
The lucky 40 guests were the recipients of a winning auction bid at a recent Play for P.I.N.K. tourney at Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, which raised over $100,000.
