This month’s P.I.N.K. All Stars are PFP National Advisory Board members Alison Teicher and Michelle Tesser from Montammy Golf Club in New Jersey. Both women have been deeply connected to the cause for many years through friends and family who faced a breast cancer diagnosis. Thanks in part to their dedication, Montammy has raised over $1 million for Play for P.I.N.K. in two decades. Here is their story:
Originally knowing so many people who have been afflicted with breast cancer and having the opportunity to raise money for research to bring us closer to finding a cure for this insidious disease is our motivation.
We are a great team! We love our “yin and yang” and the different ways our ideas complement each other and play off our strengths. Each year we challenge ourselves to come up with new ideas and continually raise more funds than the prior year.
It is really a fun day when we all come together and forget about the sadness of breast cancer, and in a positive way, we feel we’re making a difference.
Michelle’s sister died from the disease and we both have friends and family who have been affected. We are both on the Play for P.I.N.K. National Advisory Board which gives us a chance to share our ideas and inspiration.
