To date, Play for P.I.N.K. has raised $92 million to fund the world’s most promising breast cancer research by the finest minds in the field. And that research is already saving lives, improving outcomes and uncovering new approaches to this complex, challenging disease.

Play for P.I.N.K. is also a key supporter of the Precision Prevention Initiative (PPI), an ambitious effort through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to apply the breakthroughs of precision medicine to breast cancer prevention by identifying individualized risk, tailoring interventions, and stopping the disease before it starts.

Funding Breast Cancer Research Boosts Our Chances for Treating Other Cancers, Too

A better understanding of breast cancer not only leads to better outcomes for people who have it; it unlocks the secrets of other diseases as well, with some targeted therapies for breast cancer having treatment applications against other types of cancer, too.
